Certified Scrum Master® (CSM®)

About the Class

This is an in person, 2-day, no PowerPoint course structured to lead attendees through a self-discovery of the basics (What, Why, how) of Scrum. The course begins with a broader focus on agile and its various enablers (organization design, problem domain analysis, systems thinking) and dives further into the specifics of Scrum and its core elements. The overall learning process is meant to be experiential (case scenario study, activity and simulation) that encourages the attendees to learn by doing and not simply listening to theory.

 

Upon completing this course, you will receive:

 

  • Certified ScrumMaster (CSM) Certification (after passing the CSM test)
  • Two-year membership in the Scrum Alliance
  • 14 SEUs (Scrum Education Units) (Equivalent to PDUs from PMI (Project Management Institute).

This course is appropriate for anyone who is interested in learning about agile and Scrum. The course focuses on the basics of the agile values, principles and the Scrum framework and their applicability in various locales. Attendees can expect to walk away with a comprehensive set of techniques to influence and impact change in their respective organizations.
